Thrash N Burn
Went to Thrash and Burn last night. Order is order they played in..
AA headlining (..wtf?). |
9 | | Chelsea Grin
I had the misfortune of seeing this band again.. they are just as horrible
live as they are on tape. Worse, in fact. If music composed 90% of
breakdowns doesn't irk you, maybe music made up of 90% shitty super
boring and off beat breakdowns with an untalented and uninspiring vocalist
will. |
8 | | Motionless In White
Deathcore or something.. lots of breakdowns and a guy with a really gay
haircut. Snoozefest. |
7 | | Greeley Estates
Breakdown after breakdown after mediocre breakdown with some average
musicianship.. they were enjoyable for about one song. Then I remembered
why I don't like this band. |
6 | | Through The Eyes Of The Dead
I really enjoyed these guys. I used to listen to them back in the day and
they brought some memories back. These guys got me dancing. |
5 | | Impending Doom
ID played well enough.. I'm not into their music all that much but it was
definitely "brutal" and "deathy" what not without being "br00tal". If that
makes sense. |
4 | | Stick To Your Guns
These guys were pretty much phenomenal. Definitely the best of the sets. I
don't really know what else to say. They had awesome stage presence,
their music was heavy as shitbricks and they even sent some uplifting
messages out. Legitimate. |
3 | | Kittie
I only watched part of this band.. they're just a fucking joke. They suck. And
they're girls trying to play metal, and they're not even hot. Except the lead
singer was kind of hot in a weird erotic screaming way. |
2 | | Born of Osiris
They played a lot of older stuff which was a plus, and they played
impeccably. Second best only to STYG. |
1 | | Asking Alexandria
Well, this band already sucks. They were all douches, to none's surprise.
The lead singer was a cocky motherfucker that couldn't sing worth shit. Still
though they were kind of fun with their whole trance breakdown deals. |
