12.24.06 | No. There are superb riffs in most music genres. The Mars Volta has excellent riffs and they are prog-rock. A Wilhelm Scream has excellent riffs and they are punk. At the Drive-In and The Fall of Troy have some excellent riffs and they are post-hardcore. Shit, even Muse has some good riffs sometimes. You're absolutely retarded if you think metal is the only genre with good riffs. |
