Rom: 1 and 2 are pretty neck and neck for me right now, but they're completely different records so it's a tough comparison
Ross22: hmm.. it's fairly unique. If you're into indie rap I'd say you'll like it (i.e. if you like stuff such as P.O.S., Aesop Rock, El-P etc.). The best comparison is probably Plastique by Sole and the Skyrider Band.
Swag/Bully: yeah I dig it, even though he pretty much just sounds like Sage meets Aesop with El-P style imagery. He's not original in the least, but the record's definitely enjoyable. |
