BATTLE OF THE GENRES - PART ONE /// Well guys, I'm doing another Battle tournament. I don't care if you hate the idea- if you do, just ignore these lists and don't post in them. Anyway, this is going to be a battle of the genres, and here's how it's going to work. /// DESC RIPTION - Vote for a band that you would like to represent each genre. There are eighteen genres in total, which means eighteen preliminary rounds. Then the representatives from each genre will face off. Which genre/band will win? /// RULES - One vote per member per day (each round lasts 24 hours) - In the event of a tie, a faceoff will occur between the disputed bands - Let's get started

Highest-rated album: Master of Puppets (4.4 avg. rating) /// Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in October 1981. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, they are the most commercially successful heavy metal act in history. They are also the seventh biggest act in America.
3Megadeth

Highest-rated album: Rust in Peace (4.5 avg. rating) /// Megadeth are known for their fast thrash riffs and unique solos. The band formed when Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica and released its first album, Killing Is My Business... And Business is Good! Dave swore to be better and faster than Metallica, and this desire was personified in his albums all the way up to the thrash classic Rust In Peace.
