This song single-handedly began my quest for great music. You?ve all heard the legendary violin that plays the same line throughout the whole song. I?m a sucker for that violin for some reason. The lyrics are, well, beautiful. | | 2 | U2

A pretty underrated U2 song I think. The Edge makes this song for me, with his atmospheric guitar riffs. Bono sings heartfelt lyrics, and before you know it, 6 ? minutes have passed by. Beautiful song. | | 3 | Smashing Pumpkins

I Stay Away
Usually I consider AIC to be in the ?weird, hard, and nasty? side of rock, (don?t get me wrong, I love AIC) but when AIC wants to be breathtakingly beautiful, they can. I Stay Away alternates from weird and grating to angelic. Great song. | | 6 | Foo Fighters
Virginia Moon
From what I?ve read, most people are not a fan of the 2nd disc of In Your Honor. I, on the other hand, think it is far superior than the 1st disc, and this song is one reason why. Mojo Pin
I just recently bought Grace, and I am blown away by Jeff Buckley?s voice. It is so delicate and powerful at the same time, and his range is ridiculous. I think Mojo Pin best showcases his incredible vocals, which are simply beautiful. | | 8 | Pink Floyd

Corgan?s vocals are a little overbearing on this song, but I find it beautiful none the less because of the gorgeous guitars, gorgeous piano, and heck a gorgeous banjo. | | 10 | A Perfect Circle
A Stranger
I love Maynard?s vocals in APC. This song has some synth that combines with Maynard and a delicate acoustic riff and the result is, heh, beautiful. | |
