06.30.10 | List is really good.
You should get around to listening to Godspeed You! Black Emperor if you feel at all inclined to listen to post-rock I feel you'd like it. But I think you'd also like:
Minus The Bear
As Tall As Lions
Thrice
Manchester Orchestra
Glassjaw
At The Drive-In
Armchairpolitician
aaannnddd whatever else people rec you. |

06.30.10 | Yeah, I really like 'Enjoy Eternal Bliss' as well. I've been really looking for more stuff like Nujabes, Portishead, Soulsavers, etc. Or just stuff that is similar to certain songs...
For example....
Bands that have a sound similar to
Slint - Washer
Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond
Led Zeppelin - 10 Years Gone
Portishead - Roads
Nujabes - Horizon
Brand New - You Won't Know
etc etc etc |

06.30.10 | Dice, Thrice is my favorite band of all time. And Godspeed isn't that far behind. Loved the new Manchester. I've listened to Worship and Tribute once and wasn't sure how I felt about it. Maybe I'll give it another try. Thanks for the recs, I'll check out armchair and Memphis Will Fire. |
IsItLuck?
06.30.10 | Refused - The Shape of Punk To Come
The Blood Brothers - Burn, Piano Island, Burn
Do Make Say Think - Entire discography, start backwards. 'You, You're a History in Rust' is probably their best work, but I really enjoy 'Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn' and 'Goodbye Enemy Airship the Landlord is Dead' |
Satellite
06.30.10 | Keep watching the skis. |
Dryden
06.30.10 | needs bm |
thomas3
06.30.10 | never really got into bm. i guess the closest i've ever came to black was antestor and horde, which is essentially christian music and thus not black i assume. though antestor the forsaken was badass. i also thoroughly enjoy wolves in the throne room though i don't know if would call that black either |
DiceMan
06.30.10 | Actually, you might like Trespassers William too. They're a popish group that has a lot of shoegaze influence. It's all pretty laid back stuff, but I like to listen to it when I'm done running so idk if you might like it for that or anything. |
