5 From The 80's - 5 From The 90's
Feel free to post yours, as I love each and every one of you beautiful people here on Earth :) |
| 1 | | Talk Talk Spirit of Eden
For me, THEE album of the 80's. Beyond beautiful, I urge you to check it out. |
| 2 | | King Crimson Discipline
A close 2nd. behind "Laughing Stock". This Crimson release got me into the band. |
| 3 | | Cocteau Twins Head Over Heels
Sleepy time music. Relaxes my every bone(r). |
| 4 | | Joy Division Closer
Opened up the 80's with it's dark vibe, and it's my favorite JD album. |
| 5 | | Swans Children of God
Borderline scary. Thats how good this album is. Shame on you if you have never heard it. (J/K I still luff
you little Earth child.) |
| 6 | | Sonic Youth Washing Machine
Where the 80's leaves off with Swans, the 90's opens up with another all-time favorite band of mine,
Sonic Youth. Although its hard for me to pick a favorite, I'm going to go with this one because the cover is
classic. |
| 7 | | Tool Aenima
This album changed my whole outlook on music. Adam Jones is the reason I starting playing guitar. This
album will hold a special place in my heart until the day I die. |
| 8 | | Refused The Shape of Punk to Come
Revolutionized Punk/Hardcore music forever. |
| 9 | | Talk Talk Laughing Stock
I know, I know... Another Talk Talk album. If there is such a thing as "The Perfect Album", It would be this one. every time I put this on, I just
lay back and let the music wash over me. Yes, I am aware that, that sounds totally gay BUTT I assure you I am not a homophobic. Eh hem,
carry on... |
| 10 | | The God Machine One Last Laugh In A Place of Dying...
Terrible their bassist died so young, and suddenly. These guys were going to be huge, In my opinion.
If you can find this disc, buy it. As well as their previous release, "Scenes From the Second Storey". |
