Religion Ranked

BAD Religion, that is. Their albums, to be specific. My opinion, to be clear.
1Bad Religion
The Empire Strikes First

First BR album I got to be excited for; still my favorite after all these years with the band. Favorite tracks: "Sinister Rouge," "Let Them Eat War," "Beyond Electric Dreams," "Boot Stamping..."
2Bad Religion
The Process of Belief

To be honest, this is probably their best album overall since 'Against The Grain'. Lots of classic stuff on here, and something for everyone. A MONSTER of a comeback album. Favorite tracks: "Broken," "Materialist," "Epiphany," "The Defense"
3Bad Religion
Against The Grain

My favorite of the "classics." Also has the incomparable song "Anesthesia." Favorite tracks: "Modern Man," "Get Off," "Anesthesia," "Flat Earth Society"
4Bad Religion
New Maps of Hell

I don't know why I like it so much, but I do. Like Sonic Rush was to the Sonic anthology: a modern dose of a classic formula. Favorite tracks: "Heroes & Martyrs," "New Dark Ages," "Before You Die," "Honest Goodbye"
5Bad Religion
The Gray Race

I know its sacrilege to put this ahead of the next two, but this is one of those personal choices. I like this album way too much for no particular reason. Favorite tracks: "A Walk," "Spirit Shine," "The Streets of America," "10 In 2010," "Come Join Us"
6Bad Religion
No Control

I listened to this album waaay late in my BR journey, which is why it's only #6. "You," however, was the song that introduced me to the band, and remains one of my favorites today. Favorite tracks: "I Want To Conquer The World," "You," "Progress," "The World Won't Stop Without You"
7Bad Religion
Suffer

THE classic album. Very nearly single-handedly revived the So-Cal punk scene, and paved the way for bands like The Offspring and NOFX to find commercial success six years later. As for its position here, I got it the same day I got 'No Control', so see above. Favorite tracks: "1000 More Fools," "Suffer," "Do What You Want," "Pessimistic Lines"
8Bad Religion
Stranger Than Fiction

My first BR album. Wow...how fucking nostalgic! Favorite tracks: "Incomplete," "Tiny Voices," "Infected," "Marked"
9Bad Religion
How Could Hell Be Any Worse?

First full-length LP, waaaaaaay back in 1981. Some absolute classic songs. Favorite tracks: "We're Only Gonna Die," "Latch Key Kids," "Fuck Armageddon...This is Hell!," "Pity"
10Bad Religion
Recipe For Hate

I don't have this album anymore (for some reason), but I remember it well. Contains perhaps their best song ever in "American Jesus." Favorite tracks: "Recipe For Hate," "American Jesus," "Struck A Nerve," "Skyscraper"
11Bad Religion
Generator

Don't know why, but I never got into this album as much as other people. Oh, well...it certainly isn't bad (and it has that monumental title track). Favorite tracks: "Generator," "Heaven Is Falling," "Atomic Garden," "Only Entertainment"
12Bad Religion
New America

Ehhh...as far as BR albums go, it's probably one of their worst, but it's not a terrible album by any means. It's actually rather...fun. If another band (say, Lagwagon or New Found Glory) made this album, it'd be one of their best. Favorite tracks: "You've Got a Chance," "New America," "A Streetkid Named Desire," "There Will Be A Way"
13Bad Religion
Into The Unknown

The disowned bastard son of the BR discography. Not too damn bad after a million listens, though. Favorite tracks: "It's Only Over When...," "The Dichotomy," "Million Days," "Losing Generation"
14Bad Religion
No Substance

The only BR album I haven't listened to all the way through. But I've heard enough to know that it lives up to its name, for the most part.
