| Hell Yeah! (a.k.a. In Flames ranked)
Just ordered The Jester Race! I'm ashamed to admit, but it's gonna be the first (but let's hope not the last) album I own in physical form. To celebrate this glorious (for me) occasion, here's In Flames discography ranked.

Come Clarity
CC is definitely my favourite. I dig all the songs (even Scream; it's opening riff is pretty nice), and there are no really terrible tracks in it. Stand outs include Crawl Through Knives, Versus Terminus and, of course, the majestic title track. | | 2 |  | In Flames
Clayman
Clayman comes off close second. Yeah, it's mainstream-ish metal, but damn catchy. Pinball Map and Only For the Weak are probably my favourite metal songs EVER. | | 3 |  | In Flames
Whoracle
Many say it's overrated; that might be true. But who can deny that it's not great? It features songs such as Gyroscope (I believe it' THE FIRST metal song I've heard), Jotun, The Hive, Episode 666, and possibly the best In Flames song - Jester Transfigured. | | 4 |  | In Flames
Colony
The first IF album I heard in it's entirety. Loved it imediately after hearing the opening riffs of Embody the Invisible. Sadly, the second half of the album didn't caught my attention. | | 5 |  | In Flames
Reroute to Remain
Till the day I die I'll keep saying that R2R isn't a bad album. Sure, it's watered down and quite a few tracks just enter through one ear and then imediately leave through the other, but it also has songs like Trigger, Cloud Connected and Free Fall. | | 6 |  | In Flames
A Sense of Purpose
After the initial listen, I was one of the ones who jumped "now In Flames are RUINED FOREVER!!!" bandwagon. But after repeated listening, the whole album grew on me. The Mirror's Truth is awesome, Alias has a pretty neat synthline. Even Delight and Angers, which IMO is "harmlessly dull" sounds nice every once in a while. | | 7 |  | In Flames
Soundtrack to Your Escape
Is anyone surprised with this? True, Soundtrack is the worst IF release to date. But still, it has the Dynamic Duo: My Sweet Shadow and Evil in a Closet. And, though I hate to admit it, I fancy The Quiet Place too... | |
