Go, Diglett!

I've been listening to these five albums over and over. I love them all.
1The National
High Violet

This is my first album by them, I finally decided to cave to the hype as I will
be seeing them live in a couple weeks. I can't decide if I like the post-punk
vocals stlyings or the superb drumming better. Rules. It rules.
2Broken Bells
Broken Bells

I was holding two albums in my hand at the CD store. This was one of
them, and I was trying to decide between the two. I picked the other one
(by Basia Bulat) at first. Then I realized that the song being played by over
the radio at the time was from this album. I loved the song, so I switched
the CD. Now I drive around all the time with the windows down and this
on.
3Oceansize
Effloresce

The first song in particular just rules. The drummer is so so good in this
band and the rest are't bad either.
4The Dillinger Escape Plan
Option Paralysis

Bought during their live show. Probably my favourite metalcore or even just
metal album ever. I love the dynamic shifts but also the constant dark
tone.
5Brian Eno
Another Green World

When he sings, it kinda sounds like Syd Barrett from Pink Floyd's first
album. When he doesn't, he crafts awesome, sprawling ambient
masterpieces which often feature the stellar guitar work of Robert Fripp. I
longboard to this album all the time, it's the most relaxing thing ever.
