Emim: Favorite Mainstream Rock Albums

Emim 05.14.10	Albums so nice, Sputnik put them twice! I have no idea why it does that... Anyways, I tried to stay as close to Rock and Hard Rock as I could. A couple of these could pass as Nu-Metal, but I tried to limit that influence as well.
Masochist 05.14.10	I prefer 'The Fake Sound of Progress' to most any other Lostprophet album. Also, I don't think #11's quite mainstream yet (it would be absolutely amazing if they were ;-) ). Good stuff, though!

Emim 05.14.10	I realized half way through that I should have made it for 20 instead. 3DG, Red, Muse and probably System (though not really Rock) would have made it.
Masochist 05.14.10	Tell the truth, not a fan of 3DG (based on singles). "Home" is awesome, but I question the sincerity of a band that puts out all these hateful singles, then has an anti-suicide one out of nowhere. At least when A Perfect Circle did it, it managed to have as much angst as the rest of their songs. That, and "Riot" annoys the fucking hell out of me.

tiesthatbind 05.14.10	Wooooo #1. I don't crank it out as much as Blackbird but it's still amazing. Breaking Benjamin does put out some great singles, although I love all their albums except their debut.

ConsiderPhlebas 05.14.10	10 and 11 are awesome. Third Eye Blind and Counting Crows are probably my favourite mainstream bands. Bring me to Life is cheesy but ace.
