These are the songs that stick in your head and eventually make you hum or sing along to
them when you hear them next. The kicker? Instead of annoying you, they actually make your

Who knew such a superficial and transparent song about sex could be so catchy? Check out the bongos

Such a good song, and literally for the corniness it puts forth. But let's be honest here: we're all listening to

The first five or ten times you hear this song, you love it. Unfortunately, it loses all its appeal by being
overplayed more-so than Dave Matthews on university/college radio stations. But, when you first heard

Dear Good Old War: Thank you for not only bringing good folk music back to the world, but thank you for
making it so accessible. And above all else, you make it sound SO good; having a song like "Coney Island"

I wish I could put their whole album 'LP' up here, but I can't. I think every song on that record is catchy
and legitimate in its own right (save for their cover of "The Ocean" - didn't care for it at all). I threw a dart

This is such a genre-departure from what I've been putting on this list, but not everything catchy is
pigeonholed to particular genres. So, check this song: easily one of my favourite hip-hop songs ever. And,
the video is hilarious to boot - check it out on YouTube or something, then buy it on iTunes. Downloading a
great song like this is an injustice to your music library. | |
