03.31.10 | Nu-Metal aside, I like the feel of the 90s more. From what I've been sampled. It seems to have more middle ground than the 00s, whereas the next thousand year chapter of humanity kicked off with some rather glaring highs and lows. |

03.31.10 | +@Jesusjuice, to my last comment

03.31.10 | if the only thing you like from the 00s is Nu-Metal, you seriously need to expand your search of music from that time period |
ElutheriusAveilien
03.31.10 | Elliot Smith has been a sort of raised flag with me recently. Can't say how many times I've seen his albums around this site lately. |

03.31.10 | Yo jesus,
I meant that I liked the feel of the 90s regardless of the influence nu-metal had on it.
Cause, honestly, Freak On a Leash has to be one of the most wretched songs ever. |
jesusjuice1179
03.31.10 | ah i misunderstood your comment, still I hate 90s music, but to each his own |
eternium
03.31.10 | "regardless of the influence nu-metal had on it"
That sounds like nu-metal was an '80s thing that influenced '90s music. Nu-metal was a late '90s thing, a small minority in a sea of greats that made completely different music.
Imo, only really good nu-metal was Korn's self-titled and Slipknot's self-titled (in the '90s). And no, Deftones are not nu-metal. |

03.31.10 | ^ needs more system of a down |

03.31.10 | System of a Down isn't nu-metal?
Just another victim of the label that was attached to EVERY band back then. |
ElutheriusAveilien
03.31.10 | It could be argued that I was referring to the 80s, the 90s, or the 00s. Regardless, we all know what I mean, but my bad for wording it in a funky manner. |

03.31.10 | Alanis Morrissete - Jagged Little Pill

03.31.10 | I always wondered if You Oughta Know was overshadowed by the rest of Jagged Little Pill. If not, it'd be a straight up 3 for me. |
