03.25.10 | That's pretty safe, because even you hate the album someday, its just a pony, so I say go for it. |

03.25.10 | tattoos can be kinda lame but they can also be awesome. a kid who was my next door neighbour got a sick mammal tattoo all the way up his leg.
maybe just get an actual white pony?

03.25.10 | I'm not such a big fan of most that sort of art. I dunno, I'd have to commission someone to design it too. |
Damrod
03.25.10 | The only thing from a band I ever could imagine getting tattoed was the Phoenix in the booklet of boysetsfire's "tomorrowcometoday".
Getting something different though, but I'm still waiting for my appointment at local tattoo authority |

03.25.10 | Don't do it. If it's for an album I really don't think it's a good idea. |

03.25.10 | bad idea |

03.25.10 | I've discussed the white pony with a friend of mine as one of the only acceptable band-related tattooes. I'm still not a huge fan of doing it, but whatevs. 1-4 on this list are all kinds of win. |

03.25.10 | getting band tattoos is not the way to go. u should take the idea and make it your own. take the white pony, add your own original touches to it, and then do it. everyone i've seen with a "band" tattoo regrets that more than anything |
Cuban Pete
03.25.10 | also leg tattoos are almost always lame but if you can make it cool then go for it. |

03.25.10 | My girlfriend is getting a zombie-themed My Little Pony tattoo. Gonna be sick. |
Captain North
03.26.10 | Well it's not a band tattoo - its an album logo, and even if I stopped liking it, it's just a reminder of what was once a major part of my life.
But whats wrong with leg tatts? A few of my friends have commented on that. |

03.26.10 | 5 rules, listened to it earlier tonite. |

11.07.10 | yeah #2 takes awhile to get used to simply because of the fact it isn't their best album, but it is definitely a masterpiece |

11.07.10 | #1 took me about 2 minutes to realize how good it is. Magnetic North is a little underrated in my opinion. All their albums sound pretty different from one another but that's the one that closely resembles Satellite Years. Not a bad track on either album. |

11.07.10 | I actually considered getting Isis' mosquito symbol discreetly tattooed on my body somewhere. Just a nice little mosquito symbol, and it looks badass. But I'll probably never do it; tattoos aren't really my thing. Pony is a good idea too. |
Captain North
11.07.10 | I've moved on to bigger and better ideas now. =) I may still get the Pony tattoo at some point though. |
Butkuiss
11.07.10 | Ooh. Do reveal your new ideas! |

11.07.10 | weird, I've always wanted a tattoo but have never come across an idea I knew I wouldn't mind having on me for the rest of my life, and the only thing I've been able to come up with is either some really memorable lyrics, which can be cheesy if it's not done right, and the White Pony symbol. I'll probably never go through with it though |
Captain North
11.07.10 | See, the whole 'I'll want it my whole life' is the wrong mentality. A tattoo is a scar, and as such a symbol of your life at the moment of time you got it. You should never grow to hate that sort of thing, only accept it if you no longer love it.
My main idea at the moment is a large back piece, with a twisted and gnarled tree. A branch/root for each year of my life. The idea is that I can add to it throughout my life. But I need to find someone who can create it for me, since Im completely talentless visually, and save the enormous amount of money needed. |

11.09.10 | "since Im completely talentless visually" same here sort of. I can usually visualize what I want, but I can never seem to be able to describe it so anyone else can understand, and I most certainly have no skill at drawing. I can't even do a fucking stick figure that doesn't look like a lollipop with arms or something lol
I like the idea of a tattoo that can be added on to. maybe something that you can add to every time something specifically memorable happens, that way you could point to each individual part and have a story for each one |
