| Favorite Industrial Albums
Been hounding the internet for good industrial groups I haven't heard. Here are some of my all-time and current favorites. Know any I should add? | 10 | | Mannequin Planet HuMannequin
This band is all but unknown, and only just know about to release their first album (unsigned). Really good though. Check them out at www.myspace.com/themanneuinplanet | 9 | | VNV Nation Empires
Beautiful and cohesive. | 8 | | Godflesh Pure
SO crushing, so awesome. Like combining Ministry with Neurosis. | 7 | | Combichrist What the Fuck is Wrong With You
Technically this is aggro-techno. | 6 | | Marilyn Manson Antichrist Superstar
He brought pop to industrial. Classic. | 5 | | Android Lust Devour, Rise, and Take Flight
I typically like heavier industrial, but this is still very good. | 4 | | Luxt Chromasex Monkey Drive
Only signed for one album (not this one), then broke up. Good group. Sound like KMFDM only better. | 3 | | KMFDM Nihil
Not too nuts about Captain K and the gang, but other favorite albums are Attak and WWIII. Haven't heard anything els but Don't Blow Your Top, which I can't stand. (btw, I stopped ordering these after NIN). | 2 | | Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral
Duh. Really any and all NIN again though. | 1 | | Ministry Animositisomina
Actually, I could run this list with Ministry albums, I love them ALL save With Sympathy (and I can take or leave Twitch). This one's my fave, but the Bush Bash Trilogy, Dark Side, Filth Pig, Psalm 69, Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, Land of Rape and Honey - Industrial IMO doesn't get better than that. | |

03.18.10 | Other good industrial groups (honorable mentions) include Unter Null, Aesthetic Perfection, Suicide Commando, Killing Joke, Genitorturers, and Angel Spit, Rammstein, ... More? | JesusV4
03.18.10 | The Mannequin Planet url should be myspace.com/themannequinplanet | BigHans
03.18.10 | List needs Fear Factory. | ButcheredChildren
03.18.10 | NOW SHUTUP AND SWALLOW | ButcheredChildren
03.18.10 | i actually JUST did a review on Psyclon Nine's "We The Fallen", it should be on the main page still, i did it today | JesusV4
03.18.10 | Awesome, ButcheredChildren, I'll check it out. Cool Combi reference | eternium
03.18.10 | Skinny Puppy. | Willie
03.18.10 | 3 is the only one that I'm really into. 7 is ok too. This might be something you're interested in checking out:

03.18.10 | Can you recommend a good Skinny Puppy album? I've downloded random songs and haven't cared for much. | bloc
03.18.10 | Dude, your honorable mentions are way better than the actual list. Although 9 is pretty sweet. | Willie
03.18.10 | That's easy -- "Worlock" from their Rabies album. | eternium
03.18.10 | I haven't listened to a Skinny Puppy album, I just have random songs.
Listen to whatever it highest rated. | JesusV4
03.18.10 | @Willie & eterium: Rabies it is. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the link.
@bloc: To each thair own ;)
@any and everyone: Anyone hear Mannequin Planet before? | JesusV4
03.18.10 | @Willie: Wow, that will help a lot, thanks! | Willie
03.18.10 | Well, if we're talking full Skinny Puppy albums, "Too Dark Park" is way better than "Rabies". It's just that the song, Worlock, from the "Rabies" album is their best.
Also try Acylum - The Enemy | Slipping Away
03.18.10 | I personally would have chosen the land of rape and honey instead of animositisomina but overall nice list | DLNation
03.18.10 | Circle of Dust - S/T
Lords of Acid - Voodo-U
Circle of Dust is a fucking killer (christian, ehem) Industrial from the 90's. Check it if you can find it | Eskate87
03.18.10 | good list, i was actually going to make one asking for industrial suggestions, but no need now. Been listening to Godflesh lately, good shit, but all i have is Hymns. Also trying to get into more Misitry. Its funny, the only song I really like by them or have heard more than once is Bad Blood from the Matrix OST. But if all their stuff sounds along those lines, im down. | Slipping Away
03.18.10 | one more rec would be the shizit-alot of people on sputnik really like it, its really industrial metal so it kinda sounds like ministry | PayneTiger777
03.19.10 | Celldweller | JesusV4
03.19.10 | @Eskate: All Ministry does not sound the same whatsoever. I say try Animositomina. That's one of their heaviest. It blends their speed metal, dance, and ten-minute trance songs better than any other album VERY heavy album. Also, the bass isn't as compromised as the next few albums, as Paul Barker is in the band.
The album is not too removed from "Bad Blood" but if you really like that song, you might get the album it's from, The Dark Side of the Spoon. Most people say Spoon is among Ministry's worst, but I disagree. I think it sounds like a sequel to their classic, Psalm 69, but w more of that pumping bass you hear on "Bad Blood".
So yeah. These two albums are a good place to start for you. | chaos17
03.19.10 | Foetus
Swans ( pre- white light material)
Throbbing Gristle
and Coil
would all serve you well | tarcus
03.19.10 | If you like industrial or industrial tinged music checkout Skinny Puppy, Psyclon Nine, Nurse With Wound, Killing Joke, Fear Factory, Throbbing Gristle, Strapping Young Lad, Throbbing Gristle, Cyanotic, Meshuggah, Pigface, Wumpscut, Suicide Commando, Unter Null, Black Light Burns, Chemlab, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Terrorfakt. These range from pop sensibility type industrial to extreme industrial metal or powernoise electronica.
| Meatplow
03.19.10 | Coil - Horse Rotorvator
Missing Foundation - Missing Foundation
Pailhead - Trait
Mussolini Headkick - Themes for Violent Retribution
RJF - Greater Success In Apprehension & Convictions
