11.14.06 | #2 is a given in anyone's collection and #4 is solid. I'm not a huge metal fan, so I'll hold my judgment on the other three. |
Tarantino's Tarantulas
11.14.06 | No. 1 are No.1 in my books. You dont even have to be particularly MeTaL to listen to Opeth in any case.
In Flames are also a fave of mine. I think KSE are made out to be more than they are. |
Phil
11.14.06 | Yes, the first 4 are good. I only listen to PF occassionally now-a-days. Havent really listened to In Flames much. |

03.13.09 | dpends what you like but if you lean more to the melodic death metal range...check out black ash inheritance/the jester race or clayman by in flames, if you lean more towards the melodic metal like killswitch and shit like that...check out come clarity or reroute to remain. opeth...blackwater park and watershed are both masterpieces...get blackwater park first. killswitch are awesome too....i prefer their earlier work with less of howards singing, but all their albums are a solid place to start....happy listening |
Hawks
03.13.09 | No don't start off with Blackwater Park. It's probably their hardest album to get into. Listen to either Watershed or Ghost Reveries first, then go on to albums like Blackwater Park and My Arms, Your Hearse. |

03.13.09 | Am I the only person who started listening to Opeth with Deliverance? |
