02.20.10 | 1-2-6-7-10-13-14 are good calls.
3-4-5 are too high
My list would include:
Oman (from 'Toward The Withins)
Advent
As The Bells Rings The Maypole Spins
Fortune Presents Gifts Not According To The Books
Mesmerism
Rakim
Summoning Of The Muse
The Arrival | Emmeleia
02.20.10 | 3-4-5 are too high? Well, I don't know why most people don't really like "Dead Can Dance" and "Spiritchaser" albums, I personally think they're great, if not the best. | Jethro42
02.20.10 | I'm supposed to have a copy on cassette. I can't remember the last time I heard their debut album. I remember having enjoyed rwo or three tracks (like 'Frontier'). But compared to their discog, I found this album very different with its unusual, unrefined raw soundscape. Sort of experimental alt/punk that I found less appealing to me. Maybe I just didn't 'get it'. |
