So yeah it has the synthesizers, but underneath it all is a really great album. Would I prefer this to any of

02.02.10 | I think you should check out American V next but any American Series is a good decision. Also - I think Leon Redbone is technically classified as "Ragtime" but the album is incredible. Great to chill out and relax! Kind of like a jazz/blues/folk thing I suppose. | Phil

02.02.10 | Well VI hasn't come out yet - I believe it's the 23rd of February (why I'm so stoked because it has been talked about since "05!) - but for the most part the entire American Series was actually covers including VI! Some songs were given to Cash by other artists and some were just covers of already released songs but I still consider them some of Cash's best work! |
