Lately I've had the desire to get more metal into my music diet. I only have a few metal albums though. I've listed all of the metal-related albums that I enjoy. It'd be funky fresh if you guys would give me some recommendations based on these albums so I can dive deeper into the genre called METAL
1Alice in Chains
Black Gives Way to Blue

Intense album. One of the best of 09.
2Alice in Chains
Dirt

Considered "grunge", but I always thought of Alice in Chains as a kind of metal as well.
3Black Sabbath
Master of Reality

I love Sabbath. The original heavy metal.
4Black Sabbath
Paranoid

Some of the best riffage I've ever heard.
5Black Sabbath
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Another amazing Sabbath album.
6Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast

Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast.
7Isis
Panopticon

Cool stuff, I'm still digesting this.
8Jakob
Solace

Some seriously over-looked post-rock/metal.
9Kyuss
Welcome to Sky Valley

One of my favorite albums of all time. Considered "stoner rock", but I like to think of Kyuss to be in the same vein of metal as Black Sabbath.
10Kyuss
Blues for the Red Sun

Almost as good as #9.
11Megadeth
Rust in Peace

Hangar 18 is one of the coolest songs ever.
12Metallica
Ride the Lightning

Has a lot of classic shiz (Fade to Black, For Whom the Bell Tolls, etc).
13Tool
Lateralus

Progressive/metal.
