IRAI 01.16.10	I went 2-3 at FNM tonight, which was better than i thought I'd do with what i was running.

IRAI 01.16.10	where i go to play magic has a room for all the yugioh players. it always smells like real bad BO and its mainly comprised of 8 yr old kids who dont shower and have their parents drop them off n whatnot. all the magic players are 17-?? old and dont smell and are really cool ppl...so even if we are lame, we dont smell bad.

March_Of_Sand 01.16.10	I used to play so much a for the past few years except I haven't really played that much at all this past year. My friends who got me in to magic are starting to play again and trying to get me back into it but I simply don't really have enough money too.

BenedictVII 01.16.10	Haha, magic. Those were the good old days. Those days were a long time ago though, sixth or seventh grade. I remember at some point in that stage I even got some warhammer figures to paint.
IRAI 01.16.10	one of my friends stop playing magic to play warhammer, and now i dont see him much anymore. Magic is sorta like 'hang out with your friends' glue.

grahamg0re 01.22.10	h yeah, magic is pretty awesom =D i'm a pretty casual player though. my play group plays highlander 250 decks a lot. that's pretty fun. highly recommended
TheSpirit 01.22.10	I used to play. Had a pretty sick swamp deck complete with Phage The Untouchable. Since then i'm pretty sure that card has become irrelevant, but at the time a 4/4 who could instantly win the game by attacking you LP directly was pretty cool.

The amount of new cards has been bewildering so I’ve been playing with my collection of casual decks. While I have the councils ear, what are your favorite solutions for dealing with big large, aggressive creatures coming at my mono red deck?

CyberTaco 02.06.26	chaos warp or basilisks collar + any creature that can poke other creatures works well. aftershock is funny and can kill lands too if you wanna be like that. can sorta mess with green mana ramp
