GnarlyShillelagh 01.13.10	I really dislike 3 and 4 being so high, but that's just a very personal bias. Disappointed at the lack of Mono as well, but maybe Post-Rock just isn't your thing. Other than that, sweet list :D
jrowa001 01.13.10	im sorry two really good albums that were popular on this site made my list. i love post-rock but honestly i just didnt listen to a whole lot of new post-rock. i liked the new Mono a lot, but only listened to it a couple times.
Zoo 01.13.10	Lots of nasty here and it's good to see Long Distance Calling on a list. Kind of surprised to not see Mono or Do Make Say Think. Did you ever hear If These Trees Could Talk? I'd think that'd be here if you did.
jrowa001 01.13.10	yeah Long Distance Calling was really the only new post-rock album i listened to on a regular basis this year. i am sure if i listened to Mono more it wouldve been here. i havent listened to that Trees Could Talk album or the Do Make Say Think. post-rock wasnt really on my agenda this year. unless i was in the mood for GY!BE
Phil 01.13.10	I prefrered Ki over Addicted but I'm glad that both are very high. Have you listened to any of Nick Cave and Warren Ellis's soundtracks?
jrowa001 01.13.10	yeah i have all their soundtracks. all are amazing. The Road i only have listened to a couple times and i havent seen the movie yet, so i plan on raping that soundtrack after i see the movie.

jrowa001 01.13.10	haha i had a lot of free time to listen to music this year when i never went to class. i always think about writing a review then i remember i hate writing and i have a horrible vocabulary and no real training in music so i tend to get technical terms wrong. i can barely get myself to write an essay for a class. i have a few albums that i would like to see reviewed but my motivation to write one is zero
DaveyBoy 01.13.10	I wouldn't worry about the technical terms too much... I don't. I prefer reviews that simply spell out what the author is thinking anyway. I guess it does come down to the motivational aspect though. Surprise me one day.

jrowa001 01.13.10	one day you will be surprised davey i have no clue Willie! like the list? ddconjoined, the maudlin album just didnt have the same effect on me that their previous albums did. Soap&Skin is a female artist from Austria who writes dark electro pop. very emotional music that can be rather haunting. her vocals are superb. check her out thanks lobby!
