intothepit83 01.08.10	i give up on the artwork. sorry! anyway, Eagles will lose for 5 reasons: 1. It's kinda hard to win when your QB's on his back half the game. 2. Desean Jackson will be shut down..... again! Then he will go back on Twitter and declare that Mike Jenkins still sucks and no one can shut him down. Then he will eat his computer. 3. Romo's having the best overall(not numbers wise) season of his career. Philly didn't stop him in mid-season, Philly didn't stop him last week, and they won't stop him on Saturday 4. Cowboy Stadium. If you think that place is not going to be loud, you better wear ear muffs 5. 24-0. 'Nuff said!

While I respect all of the Superbowl rings that former Cowboys have, and keep in mind the Vikings haven't won either, I think the bigger issue for the Cowboys is their trouble to win a playoff game since what, like 199something? Anyways, t'will be a good game. There's no way Dallas beats them THAT bad two weeks in a row, but they are definitely the hotter team.

intothepit83 01.08.10	i will say that i am very nervous about playing the vikings. i know when it comes to the playoffs history doesn't mean anything, but the only comfort i get outta having to face the vikes is that favre has struggled in the playoffs, especially against the boys. but that i think would be a great game

Zoo 01.08.10	The Eagles will win. Mcnabb is a far better and more experienced playoff QB than Romo. The Boys will make it interesting with mismatches, particularly with Witten on the LB corps but as long as the defense keeps relatively consistent pressure on Romo, they won't be able to keep up with the plays the Eagles offense will make. It'll be a high-scoring affair on both sides with Philly coming out on top, mainly because the Cowboys lifted their skirts too early last week, revealing too much of what makes them successful.

And yes, admittedly, that proves which franchise has been more successful over the years, it has no bearing whatsoever on future games. The only people left in that organization from their glory days in the 90's is Jones himself and his son. Since the NFL, and really any professional sport, is a 'what-have-you-done-lately' business, the most relevant fact in this argument is, therefore, that the Eagles have played in 17 post season games since 1999, winning 10 of them, while the Cowboys have only made 5 post season appearances since winning Super Bowl XXX in the 1995 season, losing in the first round every time.
