Inveigh 01.06.10	Love me some Buckethead and Bill Steer; not too familiar with the rest. Have you ever seen that video of Buckethead playing his guitar on like Christmas morning or something like that? It was on demand on comcast awhile back, but I've seen it on youtube before too. Just nasty stuff.

MindTrain 01.06.10	I'm not too fond of Buckethead's shredding style. It usually sounds like a mess of unneeded notes. He has some great albums though.

Xxplosive 01.07.10	Lol I sat down one on one with him at NAMM 2008 for about an hour, the guy is literally a musical genius, and one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

TheSpirit 01.07.10	To me though, his playing is so typical solo guitarist. Sure, he can shred and do a bunch of different things/styles but it still seems so cliche at the same time. Buckethead on the other hand is just so fucking weird and even with his solo stuff, isn't running the show musically. While he's fucking amazing, he plays with other musicians who are equally as good at their respective instruments.

Xxplosive 01.07.10	Ya I will admit, Buckethead is an amazing guitarist. But Guthrie is brand new, he's only had one album, and people have only seen the stuff he has on youtube. He did a private show after NAMM, and he literally blew my mind. It was just 2 hours of musical exploration, the guy can literally play anything. Just give him a couple years.
