eternium 01.06.10	All of these are good albums. I don't consider any of them "generic" because they were still the first bands to play the style. Example being All That Remains, one of the first melodic metalcore bands, a now mostly generic and abused genre.

Powerban 01.06.10	I find it funny how no one ever hates on Chimaira here. It's probably because they're a decent band sometimes. I always totally forget about them though.

ThePalestMexican 01.08.10	Very true on the Melodic Metalcore genre thing, it's getting raped into oblivion lately. Very nice list, #1 is sex, #2 used to be sex, #3 meh, #4 I actually didn't like, #5 is sex, #6 is sex, #7 is meh, #8 is a lesbian threesome, #9 is sex, #10......maybe the next album.

Y'know, people should just stop considering melodic metalcore (KsE, ATR, etc) the same genre as first-wave metalcore (Converge, Botch, etc). Every metalcore list ever goes the same way: MM guy: "Dude the new Mis Sigs album is fucking awesome! Some of my favorite metalcore!" First-Wave guy: "LOL WTF THATS NOT METALCORE GO LISTEN TO CONVERGE AND BOTCH AND STFU" Not the same. Not at all.

Inveigh 04.07.10	I (mostly) approve of this list, although I don't generally think of Chimaira as metalcore (and I find them incredibly boring). List does need more Alive or Just Breathing and You Come Before You, as well as Botch + Coalesce. I like the idea though, I'd pos if that was an option.
