01.04.10 | I see you don't have any Radiohead ranked, get on that. The Bends and OK Computer are the most alt rock out of them all.
You might dig some Dinosaur Jr. and The Lemonheads too. |
Jim
01.04.10 | thanks man. i've always avoided radiohead a little, or at least found their later stuff a little dreary. i'll get the bends. |

matchbox 20? onoes, don't tell me its THAT |
JWT155
01.04.10 | I'm a huge grunge fan so Core, their first album which contains a lot of singles, is my favorite. Purple comes in a very close second but that's mainly cause I've only drifted through the singles on it and haven't given it as much love. Those 2 I'd recommend first then No. 4, Tiny Music and Shangri-La Dee Da are all about on the same level imo. Also, if you want to just collect the popular songs, their greatest hits album 'Thank You' is fantastic as well so you may even want to go with that. |
Jim
01.04.10 | come on now JXD. recs or gtfo. |
LeotardMessiah
01.04.10 | stone temple pilots arent grunge and they're garbage, stop reccing them to people |
JWT155
01.04.10 | Well maybe you should learn the english language cunt because I said I like Grunge, never claimed it was but to say that they don't sound grungish is ignorance because the biggest complaint 'Core' recieved when released was that they were shittyGrunge imitators. If you think they're garbage then so be it, to each his own. |

01.04.10 | Also try STP's first two albums like jwt155 said. Neither is outstanding but Core particually is a great album and the best place to start. I'm not a fan of any of their stuff after Purple though. |
