12.29.09 | Seriously that riff in 1 is perfect.
I started with Hangman's Hymn sometime in 07 and didn't really like it all that much. Then I got this 6 months later or so and it floored me. Believe it or not it actually continues to grow on you, there's so much to listen for. My only complaint is that the last song (Requiem - Nostalgia) is unmemorable. They should've just ended it with "Bring Back the Dead." Song is epic as hell. |

12.29.09 | I was just listening to this album for the 2nd time when I saw this list, weird. I am really digging Dreamsphere (Return to the Chaos). Haven't listened to Slaughtergarden Suite yet, really looking forward to it now. |

12.29.09 | Slaughtergarden Suite is the weirdest song on the album for sure. Not much if any metal in it really. It's builds up with really (for lack of a better word) creepy atmospherics like in "Nietzschean Conspiracy" and then it transforms into this ridiculous disco/dance number with black metal rasps. It sounds terrible but it works amazingly. |

12.30.09 | Agreed, Corpsecry - Angelfall's main riff is one of best riffs in metal history. I get this weird sensation (asian/japanese 'by night' imagery lol) when it sets in, especially when the synth comes in underneith.
