In Flames We Trust

Why In Flames are an amazing band and one of my all time favorites. Lets get started.
1In Flames
The Jester Race

Defines the old In Flames sound we all knew and loved. Songs like Moonshield, Lord Hypnos, December Flower, Artifacts of the Black Rain. All around good album and for me a classic. 3.5/5
2In Flames

A worthy follow-up to Jester Race. Sticks to the old n Flames sound. Songs like Food For the Gods, Episode 666, Gyroscope, Jotun are my favorites. 4/5
3In Flames

Amazing. Outstanding musicianship. Colony, Man Made God, Zombie Inc.,and Behind Space 99(personal favorite) 4/5
4In Flames

Bullet Ride and Pinball Map. Enough said. Many great songs on this album but those stand out imo. 4.5/5
5In Flames
Reroute To Remain

Alot of people started to turn away at this point. They do change their sound a bit from earlier works but still a great album. Songs to be noted-Reroute to Remain, System, Cloud Connected, Minus. 3.5/5
6In Flames
Soundtrack to Your Escape

My least favorite album by In Flames. Its decent, but lacks a lot of the energy and replay value. Good songs-The Quiet Place, My Sweet Shadow. 3/5
7In Flames
Come Clarity

A good improvement from STYE. Has more singing and melody than early albums but still heavy. A mix of the old and new. Catchy as hell. Songs-Leeches, Reflect the Storm, Crawl Through Knives, Take This Life, Dead End. 4/5
8In Flames
A Sense Of Purpose

Took me a while to get into this. Seems like they tried to go back to the older sound but made it boring in a way. Not a bad album but not the best. The Mirrors Truth, Alias, Eraser, Tilt, Abnegation are to be noted. 3/5. Six good to great albums. 2 average to good. I would say that makes a good band.
