| 10 Summer Feely-goods
Guaranteed to let you have a good time, romantic or (un), for approximately three minutes. Or seventeen, in one case. | 1 | Kid Rock All Summer Long
The absolute summer song, as evidenced by the title. Unquestionably feel good, unless you're a thirty five year old lady trying to relive her past. Then it can get more than a little depressing. But for the rest of us, VERY orgasmic song. | 2 | Train Hey, Soul Sister
Catchy and addicting, while being currently very popular in small-town Iowa, this is a particularly lovely feely-good tune. | 3 | Marcy Playground Sex and Candy
Sex and Candy - need I really say more? I thank past decades from the bottom of my heart for this song. | 4 | Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feeling
A chart-topper for a reason. | 5 | Peter Bjorn & John Young Folks
Unfortunately the only song widely known to the public ear by PB&J. Fortunately, it's brilliant. And whistley. | 6 | Bush Glycerine
To some, a little more sentimental and sad than feel-good. But no matter what end of the emotional spectrum you allign with, this is Bush at (one of) its peak(s). | 7 | Journey Don't Stop Believin'
Don't lie now, no one can deny the orgasmic quality this song has to it. Plus, try to belt this out with a straight face. It's impossible, I assure you. Blare it driving around with a group of besties and you may just forget about that girlfriend you caught sleeping with the postman. ( for four minutes ) | 8 | The Killers When You Were Young
Again, possibly more sentimental than feel-good. Still quite a good summer tune to the majority of us. | 9 | Barenaked Ladies One Week
Much love to the 90s for this song. In the good nature of Barenaked Ladies, One Week isn't exactly the embodiment of artistic culture - but then again, are any of these? It's hugely enjoyable and humorous. | 10 | Iron Butterfly In-A-Gadda-Da-Vidda
Not neccesarily a feel-good tune for all folks, but it is in my opinion one of the pinnacle moments of summer songs. Jam out to this in an abandoned house while racist cultists imitating ancient indian war rites stalk you outside at the request of some chick's father. ( no worries- Criminal Minds is a great show ) | |

12.13.09 | I will always love the Barenaked Ladies. Don't care about the rest of the list. | jagride
12.13.09 | guaranteed to make me spew vomit everywhere | Masochist
12.13.09 | #'s 1 and 4 aren't so good. #5 seems out of place on here, though it's easily the best. "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vidda" is 5 minutes of song and 12 minutes of drum solo...not what I want to spend my summer listening to.
Needs more Sublime ("Doin' Time") and various other pop-punk gems (Third Eye Blind, Blink-182, Weezer, Lagwagon, etc.). | WickedDawn
12.14.09 | i wouldn't argue the vomit deal.
