Inveigh 12.01.09	Agree with most of this, but what about At the Drive-In? I'm not sure that Swansong was the height of Carcass' career, but they definitely should have stuck around longer. Death is the same way, although being together for like 15 years isn't exactly short change.. At the Gates I completely agree with, wish they would have made at least one more album. Also, Faith No More. But they were going downhill already when they called it quits..

somberlain 12.01.09	@ Inveigh i meant they peaked with Heartwork and after swansong there was really no need to continue but At the Gates definitely went out on top
FeralMemories 12.01.09	Never really got into At The Drive-In so they didnt make it xD And true, Swansong was not, but the album was rushed and they broke up before it was released, so I think they definitely could have done more with it. And with every Death album, it just got better and better, so one must imagine what could have happened if Chuck didn't die. Never were into Faith No More or Pantera either :P

Inveigh 12.01.09	Oh, and here's another one nobody talks about: Diamondhead. Booya. Those guys were almost on the level of early Maiden/Priest to me and they called it quits far too soon.

Hawks 12.01.09	Arcturus didn't break up at the height of their career because Sideshow Symphonies is probably their worst album and Death wouldn't be the same without Chuck so it's probably better that they broke up.

ThricePunk 12.17.09	Emperor had peaked after "Anthems". Some would argue "Nightside", they were done. ATG could have kept going though. And Arcturus, every single album is a masterpiece, however, rumour has it they're getting together again. Pumped about that.
