1. Godspeed You! Black Emperor for like everything they've ever done has been like life changing

2. Matthew Good, he has released a classic, two near classics and one excellent solo record. Even when he was with his band like everything he has done has been amazing.

3. Mono, these guys are so consistent it should be illegal. I was listeing to their newest while I was walking across town in a snow storm yesterday and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in recent memory. Of course I was high as fuck at the time but still.
(Their split with Worlds End Girlfriend, but if that doesnt count, Hymn To The Immortal Wind)
4. Sigur Ros, every record they've released has been really different yet still has that "Sigur Ros" sound. Their last 5 record especially have been mindblowing, every single one of them.
