NovaSilver 11.27.09	Withnail and I is excellent, so is A Private Function (Michael Palin on his own for once) as well as The Full Monty. Those are all comedies though, can't think if many serious films we do well.
Deviant. 11.27.09	Layer Cake was going to be Guy Ritchie but then he found Madonna and Kabballah, so he ditched and made that god awful Swept Away. It ended up being directed by the producer off Lock and Snatch. Rumour is Pegg/Wright and Frost are working on another film, it's part of their "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy".

rodigo1 11.27.09	and a clockwork orange is one of my favorite all time movies but i consider Kubrick American and as such the film doesnt make sense considering nearly entire cast is british and Kubrick lived in England for a shitload of time but hey he disallowed screenings of it there. ...so theres that i guess

RandMcNally 11.27.09	You should try 'Sweet 16' by Ken Loach. Its set in Greenock (where I lived) on the Beautiful west coast of Scotland. Kiran 11.27.09	sunshine was awesome, i loved the ending but a lot of people i know who have seen it have gripes with the sudden style change
qwe3 11.27.09	i didnt really like that it descended into a sort of horror/chase type thing. kinda ruined the tension for me. i did like the very end though

qwe3 11.27.09	yeah that was really nice to watch, like when it cut to a huge view of the ship with the front mirror shield lit up it was breathtaking. danny boyle's such an incredible director. he just slays every genre one by one; sci fi, drama, horror, thriller, bollywood styled drama impressive.
rodigo1 11.27.09	boyle does kill it in whatever he does and if you guys dug sunshine aesthetically, you should check out the fountain by aronofsky really different but just damn gorgeous and clint mansell does a killer score
