MetalMassacreAttack: yeah Satriani and Vai are more technically proficient, but a lot of their stuff is just playing a bunch of different scales super fast. there's no soul in it, whereas SRV could make you feel the music emotionally. That's what separates the great from the best.
Alligator: sorry i didn't know you bruised that easily, i'll tread carefully around you haha. i just think SRV should command more respect around here. 66 comments and not ONE mention of him? that deserves some arrogance.
