11.21.09 | Nothing relieves stress and sadness like a long classical piece and a good view of the ocean. |
Blindsided
11.21.09 | Thanks chaps. He actually had a stroke on Monday then dies Tuesday at like 6am CST. It was pretty rough being my mom (it was her dad) hasn't been with us since I was 14 when she passed and my dad didn't come so I was kind of alone at the funeral which blew. Sigur Ros is my #1 sleeping music lately, so soothing.
AnotherBrick - good luck to your family. My dad is still recovering from prostate cancer.
Hostile - he just turned 85 in Sept. |

11.21.09 | I'm sad to hear that, I don't really know what to tell you since I haven't really had that experience yet, either way I'll be prayin' for you. I had my great grandma pass away in the hospital while I held her hand when I was 6-ish (yeah, cliche I know, but it really happend) but I was young so I couldn't tell you my emotions.
for your question on 1.
If you like heavier stuff, get either Alien or City by Strapping young lad, he's the vocalist there, and does one hell of a job.
If you like proggy stuff, then get one of his solo albums. Synchestra, Ocean Machine: Biomech, and Terria are all amazing. If you want a laugh, which I doubt, get Ziltoid the Omniscient. |

11.21.09 | Thanks guy. I don't know what it is but the female vox and Devin's in most of the songs off Addicted are well (pun) addicting. I'll probably pick up the heavier stuff. |
