this is a subtle, yet beautiful song. only instrumental, but a fantastic way to start an album nonetheless. | | 6 | 1979
at first i wasn't really a fan of this song, but i find it such a great and unique song now. very much ahead of its time, as bands such as silversun pickups and mgmt have songs of this style now, which is about 15 years after the original. plus, i'm pretty sure this song was actually written in '79 btw when billy corgan was like 13. great tune. | | 7 | Disarm

i might have misspelled this one, but it's a sick song. and since this is my last on the list, i'll just mention that some tracks that ALMOST made the list are 'bullet w/ butterfly wings,' 'ava adore,' 'here is no why,' and 'to forgive.' but i definitely wouldn't have put on 'cherub rock;' i don't know why, but i really can't stand this song, despite how much i like the pumpkins. | |
