Top 10 Sum 41 Songs (Yea Sum 41, Who Kick Ass and Sound Nothing Like Blink-182)

fuck all you people who think the sums are anything at all like blink-182. the only similarities are the number band thing and that they were both popular around the early 00's.
1Sum 41
We're All to Blame

this song is the shit. it's kinda bs that it got none of the airplay it deserved as a single.
2Still Waiting

probably one of the sums' most well-known songs, and for good reason. not only is it catchy as shit, but if you actually listen to the guitar during the verses and some of the shouts (almost screams), you can tell this song is a pretty heavy punk one.
388

probably sum 41's jesus of suburbia. it spans every genre that the band covers on 'chuck.' starts off w/ a SICK riff, followed by a nice soft part. then it goes to pop-punk, then turns heavier and heavier and heavier until it ends w/ a sick drum fill. then there's like two minutes of eery shit, but the first 3 minutes definitely make up for it.
4Mr. Amsterdam

This song is das shit. dave's got some good screams and this song was really a great precursor for what was to come on 'chuck.' i'm still shocked at how heavy 'dtli?' was, being that it came out only a year after 'aknf.' also, the last minute of this song is the shit.
5Subject to Change

too bad the sums kinda ruined this song on 'underclass hero' w/ their half fat lip, half subject to change song (aka 'underclass hero'), but being that i never listen to that version, i didn't ruin this one.
6King of Contradiction

at first, i wasn't really a fan of this one, mostly cuz of the green day-ish megaphone thing, but in time i've gotten over that and realized what a kick-ass song this is. short and intense, this song is a ripper, and has perhaps the best ending to a song i will ever hear.
7Slipping Away

really subtle, great song. very soft and very creepy. i really wish this band did more orchestral stuff like this, cuz this song is amazing and easily my favorite ballads of theirs.
8The Bitter End

ok the only reason this one isn't higher is cuz the verse is pretty much a ripoff of metallica's 'battery.' nonetheless, the rest of the song is incredible and really shows of the sums' heaviness. dave's soloing is amazing and i really hope tom (tom thacker from gob - their new lead guitarist) will have some sick solos on their new album too.
9There's No Solution (Acoustic Version)

this version comes w/ the japanese tour edition of 'chuck' (i know, b/c i sadly bought this for like $45 on amazon). regardless of me getting ripped off, i find this song amazing and sounds way less like linkin park than the original does. plus, deryck's voice sounds amazing here and i really hope he'll get back to that grunge-ish, depressing singing style sometime.
10Best of Me

alright, you sum 41 fans can just start bashing me now cuz i put this one on there and not 'pieces.' i would've been pissed a few months ago if i saw a list w/ best of me above pieces too, but i've really come to like this song a ton. the piano's really a nice touch at the end and i love the way this song progresses. PS, i know you people will also want no reson on this list, but it's not one of my top 10. it'd probably make my top 20 though.
