Favorite Vocalists

These are my favorite vocalists of all time.
1Thom Yorke

I could listen to Thom sing all day, he does so many things so well, and his voice is impossible to replicate.
2Paul McCartney

While I think John was the better songwriter, I think Paul could sing better, and I loved his bluesy style.
3Chris Martin

I don't know why, but I think I have a man-crush on his voice. It's just so great.
4Robert Plant

I think he has the perfect Hard Rock voice.
5Matt Bellamy

A lot like Yorke and Martin, but much less versatile. Still, his crazy operatic falsettos are absolutely incredible.
6C-Lo

I find it impossible not to be moved by his voice. Listen to "Who's Gonna Save My Soul" and you'll see what I mean.
7Kurt Cobain

He sang with so much emotion and angst that you could feel it.
8Zach de la Rocha

Easily one of the most underrated vocalists. He definitely brought the Rage Against the Machine.
9Jón Ţór "Jónsi" Birgisson

You can't understand a word he's saying (half the time, he's not even using real words) but you get it anyway.
10Alex Kapranos

He has so much smooth swagger that it's dangerous.
11Alison Mossheart

Same reason as above.
12Josh Homme

His voice fits QOTSA's style so well that you can't help but "Go With the Flow." (I can hear the groans from here...)
13Jimi Hendrix

I probably should've had him higher on this list, whatever.
14Jon Foreman

Without him, Switchfoot would be barely passable as a band.
15Beth Gibbons

Her voice is so chilling, yet absolutely beautiful.
