| Favorite Vocalists
These are my favorite vocalists of all time. | | 1 | Thom Yorke
I could listen to Thom sing all day, he does so many things so well, and his
voice is impossible to replicate. | | 2 | Paul McCartney
While I think John was the better songwriter, I think Paul could sing better,
and I loved his bluesy style. | | 3 | Chris Martin
I don't know why, but I think I have a man-crush on his voice. It's just so
great. | | 4 | Robert Plant
I think he has the perfect Hard Rock voice. | | 5 | Matt Bellamy
A lot like Yorke and Martin, but much less versatile. Still, his crazy operatic
falsettos are absolutely incredible. | | 6 | C-Lo
I find it impossible not to be moved by his voice. Listen to "Who's Gonna
Save My Soul" and you'll see what I mean. | | 7 | Kurt Cobain
He sang with so much emotion and angst that you could feel it. | | 8 | Zach de la Rocha
Easily one of the most underrated vocalists. He definitely brought the Rage
Against the Machine. | | 9 | Jón Ţór "Jónsi" Birgisson
You can't understand a word he's saying (half the time, he's not even using
real words) but you get it anyway. | | 10 | Alex Kapranos
He has so much smooth swagger that it's dangerous. | | 11 | Alison Mossheart
Same reason as above. | | 12 | Josh Homme
His voice fits QOTSA's style so well that you can't help but "Go With the
Flow." (I can hear the groans from here...) | | 13 | Jimi Hendrix
I probably should've had him higher on this list, whatever. | | 14 | Jon Foreman
Without him, Switchfoot would be barely passable as a band. | | 15 | Beth Gibbons
Her voice is so chilling, yet absolutely beautiful. | |
