My Disappointments Of 2009

Yeah, so only two of these bands are/were generally well liked on Sputnik, but I rated the previous release from each a 3.5 or higher. I wasn't expecting THAT much from KSE and Jay-Z, but I didn't think they'd as bad as they turned out.
1Killswitch Engage
Killswitch Engage [II]

The Overcome of '09, this is KSE doing a lame impression of themselves.
2Mute Math
Armistice

This year's A Beautiful Lie. Thanks for throwing away your potential, guys.
3Chevelle
Sci-Fi Crimes

Either I've grown out of the band's sound or this is significantly below their previous efforts. Whatever it is, this is mostly a snoozefest.
4Muse
The Resistance

There shouldn't be any denying that BHAR was below their previous output, but it was still mostly a fun album. This isn't.
5Jay-Z
The Blueprint 3

Kingdom Come and American Gangster weren't that great, but they were mostly listenable and awesome on occasion. Everything after "Empire State of Mind" is average AT BEST.
6Thrice
Beggars

Just because it's Thrice that doesn't mean it's great.
