TRMshadow 11.04.09	The Sennheiser HD 202 (atleast the ones I got) comes with a thing to wind your cord around and lock in place. It is pretty cool.

Matte 12.24.09	I actually got to listen to the HD800's over the summer. There was a Head-Fi meet in Seattle, and I went to it. They were amazingly accurate, neutral, and fast, but for rock I would prefer some a little more punchy. They are really amazing headphones, but I don't think they would mix well with most of what I listen to. I liked the Audio-Technica L3000 better, and the Grado RS1 and HF2 are sweet too.
Emim 12.24.09	I've got Virtual Reality H200s, not GREAT but good enough to get the job done. You should take your headphones over to the August Burns Red review, they need some over there ;)
Matte 12.24.09	ABR actually doesn't have very good production haha. Messengers is absolutely terrible, and Constellations is ok, but still kinda of muddy.

Prophet179 12.24.09	Bose take advantage of uninformed consumers (ie 95% of the people shopping) by making their product seem better than it is then charging a higher price. The truth is, Bose has no credentials in the professional audio world, and their consumer grade products are nothing more than that.

Prophet179 12.24.09	It's all to your taste really. Senn, Grado, Audio Technica, Shure are all well respected brands. Generally you should never buy audio equipment without hearing it yourself first, but word of mouth is usually correct. But if you're happy with your Bose headphones right now you shouldn't worry about anything, they're still miles ahead of any stock apple headphones.

When I was asking around about what to buy it just seemed like the majority of people who own sennheisers just love their headphones, and now that I have a pair Im one of them too. I said earlier I have the hd 555s, but I plan on upgrading to the 650s as soon as I have the money.
Prophet179 12.24.09	I'd get a nice headphone amp instead TM, the difference between the 555's and the 650's isn't very large, but a nice headphone amp will squeeze every ounce of quality out of your 555's.
