10.31.09 | I expect plenty of disagreement, especially out of Nagrarock if he sees/comments on this. | Douchebag
10.31.09 | ok...
painkiller is orgasmic but I'm so sick of seeing it at number 1. demolition is way better than jugulator (read my review) and AOR is my personal fav.
awesome list dude although I still maintain I am #1 priest fan on this site :P | Xenorazr
10.31.09 | @Alligator: Demolition is in no way superior to Jugulator as a whole, there are three good tracks on that album (Machine Man, Bloodsuckers & Jekyll and Hyde-remove those and we have an album that could give St. Anger a run for its money). Jugulator takes time to grow on you (remember, I wrote a review for it too), but it has its moments and at least stays consistent with a dark mood. The title track, Burn In Hell, Bullet Train and Cathedral Spires being solid enough material to look past songs like Decapitate and Brain Dead. I mean, on Demolition we get the lyrics of Cyberface and Priest going nu metal on Metal Messiah, and those aren't even the worst tracks on the album.
Everyone might choose Painkiller for their top album, but that's because it is easily arguable as their best (normally I'd have put SWoD on 2, but I enjoy SfV more). It's kind of like Metallica, most argue Master of Puppets as their best and that's fine, but I find the album as a whole overrated.
I'm not sure what makes you like AoR more than their other albums, but that's your opinion (I loved the album when I first got into the band, but none of the tracks quite hit the masterpiece mark, even though I love Angel, Hellrider and Eulogy/Lochness).
I'm not sure if my long comments are a good or bad thing. :/ | austin888
09.17.10 | 9 and 10 should be higher. | Jesuslaves
09.17.10 | 1 is correct, 5 should be 2, the rest is pretty interchangeable. Haven't heard 3 or 8 though. | TheStefan
09.17.10 | 9 should be 1 imo... i always loved Defenders of the Faith. and Sad Wings should be 2. other than that i really dont care. I havent heard a single Judas Priest album where i was like "i shouldn't have listened to that." all in all they are a solid band | Metalfist
09.17.10 | 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 are all better than Nostradamus imo. Would make a few other changes, but pretty much agree with 1 and 2. |
