Stuck On My Ipod [10/29/09]

I dunno if it's just a coincidence, but with Halloween approaching I find that I'm listening to some pretty dark music lately. Must be the weather, lol.
1The Crimson Armada
Guardians

Tasty. End of story. Well written from start to finish with minimal cliches.
2Arsis
We Are The Nightmare

As a jazz student, this album satisfies my complicated taste in scale choice, AND my love of sick breakdowns! Winner.
3 The Arusha Accord
The Echo Verses

The UK is cranking out some good bands lately. These guys are no exception.
4Oceano
Depths

I stopped listening to this album for a few months, decided to give it another spin, now I remember why I had to go out of my way to STOP listening to it, haha.
5Between The Buried And Me
The Great Misdirect

I like the mix and production on this album a lot better than Colors, but in terms of content....meh....I dunno if it tops it.
6The Red Chord
Fed Through The Teeth Machine

Oh...my...a-gawd....SO heavy, SO fast, and not thoughtless. I love it.
7The Color Morale
We All Have Demons

REALLY catchy shit! Heavy, memorable lyrics, decent production. Been stuck on it.
8 Fall In Archea
Self Titled EP

This is SUCH a sick EP, recording sucks so its a little hard to enjoy to it's fullest, but DEFINITELY a band to watch. These guys brought to you by the great white north, lol.
9Alice In Chains
Dirt

One of the darkest albums ever written, but DAMN it's so good. RIP Layne.
10 Bury Tomorrow
Portraits

Eh, pretty mediocre, but something about it drew me in, and it's been stuck on the iPod all week.
