Great Modern Vocalists

Do I really need to explain the title?
1Mike Patton

The sheer volume of work Patton has done is mindboggling. I think his work in Mr. Bungle and Fantomas are some of his greatest work.
2Tom Waits

I might be cheating a little bit here, but Tom Waits is really a legend.
3Cedric Bixler-Zavala

I think that, especially in the context of The Mars Volta, Cedric's whine somehow works really well. Also, his vocals in At The Drive-In are pretty good.
4Bjork
5Mikael ?kerfeldt

His vocal range is really amazing, especially in the context of metal. He's somehow able to convincingly switch from a death metal growl to clean vocals in a split second.
6J?n Birgisson

His vocals are a crucial part of what makes Sigur Ros work for me. They help reinforce the calm feeling that usually comes from their work.
