10.26.09 | i've seen them both live together before, about 4 or 5 years ago.....i luv fear before the march of flames, but they didnt impress me live while PTW ripped the place apart. Although, lol, now that i think about it, it was a homecoming for poison the well, so that's probably why they were so good... though versions is a great album, in my opinion. experimentation that i believe really was a success |

10.26.09 | Yeah, it was the one at Manning Bar. And yeah, the crowd sucked. I dunno, Poison the Well really went off but where I was standing all I could hear was the distorted guitar and drums. I was recognising songs mainly from drumbeats. |

10.26.09 | I'm much more of a Poison the Well fan than Fear Before.. but FB is good too. I've seen PTW live twice, amazing both times -- and two completely different experiences. One was at the Sounds of the Underground festival -- big show. The second time was a year and a half ago when my band opened for them in a venue that could hold 80-100 people MAXIMUM. It was tiny. And it was awesome. |
