InTheShallows 10.23.09	ok, sorry i forgot about this list. here goes: Rough Trade would prolly be your best bet. there several of them around: the best one is in Covent Garden, but the original is over in West London. in fact, if you want a wide selection of shops: just travel down Berwick Street in Soho. there's a bunch of sweet places along there. my personal favorite is Revival Records, you'd find alot of what you want there. also for really heavy stuff, like black metal/grind, check out Resurrection Records in Camden Town. hope this helps!
Kiran 10.23.09	camden town had a few pretty awesome independent stores last time i was there, loads of vinyl, loads of 7", etc. but i havent been to london in a while
