1Immolation
Close to a World Below

Everything a DM album should be. The vocals are deep, but understandable, the musicianship is outstanding, and the Hellish atmosphere is overwhelming.
2Suffocation
Pierced from Within

It's amazing what cleaner production does for an already great band.
3Rage Against the Machine
Rage Against the Machine

Loved this back when I knew nothing about music. I wanted to try it out again, but the whole rap/rock thing made me skeptical. After reading all the praise and superlatives piled on the band, I decided to give it another spin. Glad I did. Pure adrenaline from start to finish.
4Death
Human

The only Death album I had yet to own. Can't believe I didn't pick it up earlier.
5Alice in Chains
Black Gives Way to Blue

Feels more like a Jerry solo album than Alice, but that's still no reason to complain.
