[quirky List Title]

Some recent listens before I start work.
1Tristania
Beyond The Veil

If you want an album with incredible depth that takes ages to digest (let's face it: we all do) then get this immediately. Also if you want to hear the best harsh/clean vocal combination in Metal get this immediately.
2Misery Signals
Controller

I have no idea why I like this as much as I do. Something about the lyrics makes me think these dudes are just so honest and...proper. And it rarely repeats itself, which is amazing for Metalcore.
3Blind Guardian
A Night At The Opera

After 6 months this is starting to grow off me but as it stands nearly every song has ~100 plays.

El Cielo

Only just got this a week ago. It's great but I wish there were more tracks as good as 'Same Ol' Road' or 'The Canyon Behind Her'.
5Opeth
Blackwater Park

This album pretty much never gets old.
6Amorphis
Tales From The Thousand Lakes

I've come to accept the production on this is poor but the songwriting quality is just there. Can't wait to these MFers in 6 days time :).
7Amorphis
Skyforger

Yeah it does repeat itself but still is very solid. 'Sampo' is fantastic.
8fun.
Aim And Ignite

It's really good.
