Yotimi 09.16.09	Nah UhhKris, I like most of the Sputnik faves and even a lot of yours (NMH, Coheed, Opeth, mewithoutYou, Modest Mouse). I'm not doubting that Streetlight are good at what they do, I just don't get it. Sounds like a bad singer with cliche ska music to me after 3 listens. Probably something I'm overlooking - lyrics? Technically intricate musicianship? Unique style buried beneath the surface?

thebhoy 09.16.09	Yotimi - Somewhere In the Between is better then their first by a little bit. Not sure if you've checked that one out but it's hardly typical ska music. Their horn section is also very technically proficient in SItB, even more so then EGN. Kalnocky does sound like your typically punk singer, but he's 10x better lyrically.
