Inveigh 09.03.09	Yeah dude, 3eb just flat out rule. I listened to their new one last night and was pleasantly surprised by the first half of it. The second half was pretty dull. But man, Sharp Knife and Bonfire are friggin' awesome.
accompliceofmydeath 09.03.09	I just saw Four Year Strong the other day and they covered Semi-Charmed Life which was pretty sweet. Also, 5 is great.

Inveigh 09.03.09	1 is sex, FNM are one of my favorite bands ever and Angel Dust is their masterpiece. @ ninjuice: War is by far my favorite U2 album, followed by Achtung Baby and then the Joshua Tree. After that would be Pop. I really wasn't a big fan of anything after Pop though, ATYCLB was just ok and HTDAAB was just terrible. Haven't heard the new one yet though.

Inveigh 09.03.09	Oh man, I find War to be far more enjoyable than any of their other albums. But if the ones you just listed are your favorites, I would be willing to bet money you will LOVE War. It's the best of U2's new wave sounds mixed with the more arena rock sound you hear on Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree. The songs Seconds, Two Hearts Beat As One, New Year's Day, Drowning Man and Red Light (and of course Sunday, Bloody Sunday) are some of the best songs U2's ever recorded.

Inveigh 05.07.10	aw shucks, you're gonna make me tear up man... but seriously, yeah we've repped the shit out of that album. The group of Angel Dust supporters is slightly larger, probably because of the massive amount of man-love Patton gets on here.
BigHans 05.07.10	Yeah, Angel Dust is tailor made for this site since it has an obscure sound. TEB is the kind of music that routinely gets murdered on this site however. I think we just made sure people listened to Motorcylce Drive By, Narcolepsy, and God Of Wine before passing judgement on simply the radio hits, which led to the massive win.
Inveigh 05.07.10	agreed. I really don't see what's so different about most of the TEB s/t (outside of Semi-Charmed Life, Jumper and How's It Going to Be) compared to something like Brand New TDAGARIM. The songs you mentioned, along with Losing a Whole Year, London and Burning Man are all just golden. There's really not one single song on the album that I don't like quite a bit.
