Top 10 Metal To The Core

Because I just felt like pointing out the obvious. These are my favourite metalcore albums.
Jane Doe

I am aware this is an entirely predictable choice. I am aware that everybody expects this to be at number 1 on this list. Well that's because it belongs at number 1 on this list. It's like the most awesome kick in the face you could possibly imagine.
2Poison The Well
The Tropic Rot

Every single Poison The Well release rules face. I'm just picking this one because it's my personal favourite at the moment.
We Are The Romans

Angular riffs and overall awesomeness make this amazing. Oh, and everything these guys released is awesome too. The good metalcore bands are really quite consistent.
4Misery Signals
Of Malice and the Magnum Heart

Misery Signal's most emotional, raw release. It's awesome, and the instrumental track is just plain beautiful.
5The Secret

Absolutely stunning metalcore album from these Italian dudes. It's quite literally awesome.

Raw, emotional and intense, I like how these guys made use of eastern influences as well.

Sludgy metalcore verging on 'mathcore', whatever that's supposed to be. It rules.
Between Two Unseens (EP)

Really emotional melodic metalcore, the band's final EP before they broke up.
9Breather Resist

Sounds like chaotic awesomeness. I like.
10The Armed
These Are Lights

Partly because I'm trying to whore this album out everywhere, but also because it seriously rules. In the vein of Botch only with.. well, more. The interlude track with the horns is absolutely awesome too.
