to clarify I don't really care one way or the other about the term electronica but i've come across enthusiasts frothing at the mouth at people who use the term and always found it pretty funny.
Ambient doesn't necessarily fall under electronic music, but BoC have those elements at least so it wouldn't be wrong to describe them as so for convenience. A few more for the hell of it -
