One thign I found humrous was, Fenrir Grayback looks like WWE's Triple H. And Malfoy manages to look 5 years older with every Harry Potter movie.

Captain North 07.16.09	Part of the reason I really love HP is that despite being all fantasy and having the overarching themes and all that jazz, it actually presents a sense of realism in the kids. Obviously the movies don't do it as well as the books, but that was always going to be the case. This movie is actually cinematic though, unlike the other movies which always seriously disappointed visually. Acting was better, the script (for the most part) was better...
Masochist 07.16.09	Sixth book was my favorite of the series, so I had rather high expectations. I enjoyed the movie a lot, actually. Thought it was pretty funny. Ron was excellent. Hermione is (somehow) sexy, but Luna is just downright beautiful even if she doesn't turn 18 for a couple more months. Severus Snape was the highlight, though.

Masochist 07.16.09	Seeing Malfoy back in the spotlight was definitely a high point, but as few scenes as Snape had (when you think about the fact that the movie is named for him), Alan Rickman was the high point of every one of his scenes. Lucky Harry was ridiculously funny! I didn't even catch the entire scene because I was laughing so hard.

Ginny was almost not bad. Not great either, I was sad at the lack of Bellatrix Lestrange. She is acted well and almost or just as terrifying as in the book.

CradleofMILF 07.16.09	Balls how do you like the 3rd 4th and 5th movies best. They completely destroyed the books. The third one especially. The first 20 minutes was like a home movie. All three of them took out way too much stuff. That russian guy and david yates are terrible directors. Christopher Columbus was amazing. The first and second movies were almost spot on with the books except for a couple small details. But never anything to major. I heard the sixth one takes out a lot of scenes too though. A lot of important ones. I hate movie adaptations of books. They almost always ruin them. Hopefully since theyre making the 7th book 2 movies they can do a not-shitty job on it.
Chewie 07.17.09	thats why they're called adaptations, you can't go into the film with a mindframe that every single thing should be like in the book. The first two completely mimicked everything in the book which doesn't make a very interesting movie. And fuck you, the 3r movie is easily the best. This one had WAY too many love scenes, which didn't really go anywhere at the end and took way too much time away from the actual interesting scenes that contributed anything to the plot. Slughorn was awesomely funny, but all the cutesy faggot love humour was shitty.
